Hello and thank you for visiting my blog!
My name is Eloise and I am the author of Eloise’s Edibles. I live in Perth, Western Australia with my Partner, Dino and am a step mum to our two beautiful daughters. Prior to living in Perth, I lived in Brisbane with my family that I visit regularly.
To earn a crust or meat and 3 veg (cool foodie pun right) I work as a Cooking Teacher which fuels my addiction to food (cooking it, eating it, reading about it, talking about it and learning about it). I have to confess that I also have a slight obsession to wines and eating out and I am lucky enough to be live in a place which privies me to have the amazing opportunity to easily travel to some of Australia’s best wineries and locations while experiencing some of the most beautiful and fresh food.
For me this blog is so much more about posting recipes. Yes I do write about food, and yes I will post recipes and yes I do talk about eating food and cooking food, however I love to look into the heart a soul of food and the relationship about food and someone’s identity, about food and the way you feel as well as sharing tips and tricks I have learnt throughout my experiences in the food industry.
The different experiences we all have with food is fascinating, you know, trying something new for the first time, visiting someone from a different background and seeing the techniques of how they cook, catching up with a good friend for lunch, going out to dinner with family, the feeling you have when you have your first sip of wine or first mouthful of food when you go on holidays, the struggle of losing weight after coming back from holidays – the list goes on and on!
Please come on this journey of foodie life and take a walk with me through my everyday food experiences that connects us all as human beings and that I hope most people can relate to.

Thank you for coming by my site – I’m enjoying yours as I love to cook! I also lived in Perth as a child, and really miss Australia. I’ll definitely be back!

Hi Eloise
You sound very real. if I wasn’t already so passionate about gardening, I think I would have to be passionate about food (speaking as one who can barely boil an egg)! Evangeline

I love that you are passionate about gardening and I wish I could grow…. well anything (I have attempted and failed on many occasions). Maybe you could share some tips?!

What a wonderful review of my poem Daybreak Diner, Just by saying you liked it, you compliment me highly. One foodie to another, they were simple in their faire, but DELICIOUS. Especially at six in the morning.
