Nutella Hot Chocolate

image

I’ve just made Nutella Hot Chocolate for my family….. AND THEY LOVED IT!! But let’s face it. Who wouldn’t!

Makes: 6 shots

Ingredients:
1 cup of full cream milk
30gm flake chocolate bar
3 Tbsp Nutella
2 Tbsp corn flour
1/3 cup water

Method:
1. Heat milk in small pot until warm
2. Crush flake chocolate bar and add to warm milk. Whisk until dissolved.
3. Add Nutella and whisk until dissolved
4. Combine corn flour and water in a small bowl and mix together until corn flour isn’t lumpy and add to pot.
5. Whisk on a low heat until corn flour has thickened
6. Pour into shot glasses or espresso cups to serve.

Enjoy!

P.s. It’s also great with homemade churros (I’ll be blogging this soon) or if you’re entertaining adults, try adding a shot of Baileys after you have taken the Nutella Hot Chocolate off the stove top and stir through.

Yum! πŸ™‚

can I use a regular flour?

      Sure renxkyoko!
However you might get a slightly grainy texture with regular flour which makes the flour more noticeable in the dish.

I am not a huge fan of chocolate (people have been stoned for less than this throughout history) but this must be good!
How about a funny name, though? “Choco blindness”, “probable bypass”, “jeans too tight”?

I think this recipe would do all the above that you have mentioned though!

Are you sure it’s only the Nutella that makes this a spectacularly delicious drink and not the whole cream milk with a chocolate bar and then Baileys! πŸ™‚ I also love your header.

Haha Carol you are so right about that! The ingredients certainly do make this dish amazing πŸ™‚ However it would be a massive mouthful for my blog title πŸ˜‰
